To all my wonderful LUTILU fans, welcome to LUTILU HOME!

I'm so excited to finally share this new space with you. Many of you know me as LUTILU, the pianist who loves creating music, exploring different sounds, and expressing emotions through the piano. Music has always been a huge part of my life. I've been playing the piano since I was four years old, and it has taken me on an incredible journey through Japan, Singapore, and now Los Angeles. But today, I'd love to introduce you to another side of me. Because there is so much more to my world than music.

Ever since I was young, I've been fascinated by beautiful spaces, creative ideas, and the little details that make everyday life feel special. I love interior design, cooking, art, flowers, decorating, and creating spaces that feel warm, elegant, and inspiring. To me, creativity doesn't exist only in music. It's in the way we arrange flowers on a table, the colors we choose for our home, the food we prepare for people we love, and even the way sunlight enters a room in the afternoon. I believe that everyday life can be a form of art. And that's exactly what inspired me to create LUTILU HOME.

A Different Side of LUTILU

On my music accounts, I usually share performances, new arrangements, recording sessions, and exciting projects. But behind the piano, there is another part of my life that I haven't shared very much.

I love spending time at home, experimenting with new recipes, discovering beautiful interior pieces, and thinking about how to make ordinary moments a little more meaningful. Sometimes, I spend hours working on music. Other times, I find myself completely absorbed in arranging a dining table, decorating a corner of my home, or planning a special meal for family and friends.

These may seem like completely different activities, but to me, they come from the same place: the joy of creating something beautiful. When I play the piano, I create an atmosphere through sound. When I decorate a room, I create an atmosphere through colors, textures, lighting, and space. When I cook, I create something that brings people together. Different forms of expression, but the same creative heart.

Finding Beauty in Everyday Life

I don't believe a beautiful lifestyle has to be extravagant or perfect. Sometimes, the smallest things bring the greatest happiness. Fresh flowers on the dining table. A quiet morning with a cup of coffee.

The smell of something delicious cooking in the kitchen. A beautifully set table before friends arrive.

A peaceful moment at home after a busy day. These are the little things that make life feel rich and meaningful to me. Of course, real life isn't always beautiful or perfectly organized. Some days are busy, messy, exhausting, or completely unpredictable. And that's okay.

I think part of the beauty of life is learning to enjoy those imperfect moments, too.

For me, creating a beautiful home isn't about making everything look perfect. It's about creating a place where I can feel comfortable, inspired, and truly myself.

My Life Between Music and Home

Living in different countries has also influenced the way I see the world. I was born and raised in Japan, spent several years living in Singapore, and now call Southern California home. Each place has given me new perspectives, inspiration, and appreciation for different cultures and lifestyles. I love the simplicity and attention to detail found in Japanese design, the diversity and energy of Singapore, and the freedom and creativity I experience here in California. These influences naturally find their way into my music, my home, my cooking, and the things I create. I don't feel that I have to choose just one style or one identity. I love mixing different ideas, cultures, and inspirations to create something that feels uniquely my own. And perhaps that's what LUTILU HOME is really about. Creating a lifestyle that reflects who we are, rather than simply following what everyone else is doing.

A Place to Share More Personal Thoughts

Another reason I wanted to start this blog is that there are many things I don't usually talk about on Instagram.

Social media is wonderful for sharing beautiful moments, music, and creative projects. But sometimes, a photograph or a short video doesn't tell the whole story.

There are thoughts, experiences, challenges, and feelings that deserve more than just a few seconds.

Through this blog, I'd love to share more of my personal perspective.

What inspires me.

What I've learned from living in different countries.

How my ideas and tastes have changed over time.

The things that make me happy, the things that challenge me, and the little discoveries I make along the way.

I don't want this to be a place where everything has to look perfect.

I want it to feel personal, genuine, creative, and welcoming.
